FAQs

How long does it take you to make your items?

It depends on the item! A blanket can take several days, whereas a small stuffed animal may only take a couple of hours. Either way, a lot of time and effort go into each and every item I make.

Where did you learn to crochet?

My grandmother taught me the basics when I was about 10 years old, but I stopped crocheting after a couple of months. I picked it back up when I was 20 years old, in my second year of college, as a stress reliever.

Can you teach me how to crochet?

I wish I could, but I can’t! I tried to teach people how to crochet before, but it did not go well. I am better at doing than teaching!

Is everything homemade?

Every piece I make is homemade, from the first row to the sewing and the handwritten thank-you cards. I don’t believe in reselling crochet items off of the internet because it devalues the actual product and those who take the time to make it.

Do you follow patterns or design your own?

I do a bit of both! Often, I will use a pattern I find and modify it slightly to fit my vision. I have designed my own patterns, but they are for my eyes only because I write patterns in a way that makes sense to me. I don’t think anyone else would be able to understand my patterns.
